This is the track that started Pauper's Crown. I've had this song--even recorded it before--for quite some time. I wasn't happy with the guitar sound on the original recording. I re-recorded the music, but sat on it for a while. My wife and I have been friends with Lindsay for some time, and I knew she could sing. I finally asked her over to sing on the track--then I found out she could REALLY sing!!! That began this whole project and band!!! This song is in the form of a conversation between someone and God. The verses is the person crying out to God and the Chorus is God responding. The bridge is God pouring out HIS blessings.
